All the hard work and accomplishments of Zahrana do not make any proud of her parents, especially his father. Zahrana father, Pak Munajat, said that he no longer requires a series of international awards from his only daughter, he only want to see her married and have childrens.

Zahrana faces a complicated problems, when a middle-aged man named H. Sukarman, M.Sc. dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, University of Mangunkarsa Semarang, who was none other Zahrana own boss, comes to propose her.

Mr. Karman is a divorced man, and a playboy. Was not easy for Zahrana to reject the proposal, even with all this bad excuse Mr. Karman owned. Moreover, her both parents will go on pilgrimage if Zahrana accept his proposal.

But Zahrana is being assertive. Although she was considered an old maid, does not mean she will accept Karman marriage proposal. Mr. Karman moral flaw makes his proposal was rejected. Rejection of the proposal becomes problem.

Zahrana's rejection and no longer lecturing in the Mangunkarsa University  makes Pak Munajat become ill. Until one day, Lina, her friend ask for help to Kyai Amir Sadiq, boarding school principal.
By The Kyai, Zahrana was fixed up with a very religious young man named Rahmat.

Zahrana receive Rahmad despite his educational background is much lower than Zahrana. But when she want to married Rahmat, Rahmad died tragically.
